It looks to be a good week for country music as far as reality competition shows go. First, John Rich became the first "Country" Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday and tomorrow we are guaranteed to have a country singer as the next American Idol. It's down to Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina.

Tonight the final two perform for your votes. They will each sing three songs, A favorite that they sang earlier in the season, their potential single if they become the winner and a song chosen by two special guests. Scotty will have a song picked by the one and only "King Of Country" George Strait and Lauren will have a song picked by someone who knows a thing or two about American Idol, The most successful Idol, Carrie Underwood.

Tomorrow will then be the big finale which will see a number of guest appearances and of course we will find out who will be the next American Idol.

As far as their personal picks from this past season, I hope Scotty picks Elton John's Country Comfort:

and I hope Lauren chooses The Band Perry's "If I Die Young":

I don't think it really matters who wins the whole thing this year because I do believe they will both be big stars in the world of country music.

So who is it gonna be folks, Scotty or Lauren?
