Schoharie Man Recovering After Trailer Collapsed On Him

Pinned underneath his single wide trailer and battling for his life, a Schoharie County man is recovering at Albany Medical Center today as he had been trapped for as many as four hours last night. Thoughts and prayers are with his family this morning as the notion of this is simply terrifying.  How did this happen?

CBS 6 News has the frightening story about the local man who was airlifted to safety after midnight last night.  It appears as though the man was a worker trying to demolish the trailer when it came crashing down on top of him.  It took Schoharie County Search and Rescue, along with other agencies using heavy machinery to get the man out around midnight after he had been trapped for nearly four hours.  It was a single wide trailer and the  incident happened on Havrish Road and was called in just before 11:00 PM.  Once the emergency call came in, it took about an hour to remove the young man from the rubble.  He's currently in serious condition.
