Schaghticoke Gets Their Very Own Theme Song: Your Town Thursday [AUDIO][GALLERY]

So many towns to cover-so little time.  I avoided this one like the plague.  Don't get me wrong-I love the town, but I couldn't think of anything that rhymes with Schaghticoke!  But a couple of very persistent listeners made me take the challenge, and now I'm happy that they did! 

Seriously, I have to thank Chrissy and Shaugne Templeton along with Maureen Fink for continuing to ask me in no uncertain terms "Where's the darn song??.  So I finally locked myself into the Sean and Richie "wacky room" with the recording equipment, my trusty keyboard and pot of coffee and got to work.

I have to say that these nice people did a lot of the footwork for me.  They even picked out the song that I should parody!  They went with Brad Paisley's "American Saturday Nite".  Here's the original in case you are not familiar.
