Saratoga County Getting Marijuana Dispensary

Saratoga County will be getting their first medical marijuana dispensary in the early part of 2019. This will enable physicians and medical professionals the ability to prescribe and dispense the drug.  According to the Daily Gazette, Fiorello Pharmaceuticals (FP Wellness) has gotten the approval from the town of Halfmoon planning board for the first medical marijuana dispensary in Saratoga County.

New York state will permit the sale, storage, labeling and packaging for sale of medical cannabis and products containing cannabis to FP Wellness. There will be an appointment only policy for the 1,917-square-foot space. It will be located off of Route 9 in Halfmoon in the JP Watkins Plaza where the Among Angels space used to be.

A production facility is also being built by Fiorello in Glenville with plans to open more dispensaries in Nassau, Monroe and New York Counties. The Halfmoon store will be open from 10am to 8pm seven days a week. They estimate that peak times will be between 10 and 11am and 4 and 8pm. FP Wellness should be open in January of 2019.
