Hunt is working on his debut album currently and has previously co-written songs “Come Over,” for Kenny Chesney, ” and “Cop Car,” for Keith Urban.

As if singing wasn’t enough, Sam Hunt also has talent on the football field. He has played football for both Middle Tennessee State University and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

WGNA listeners got a special chance to hear Sam Hunt perform songs from his upcoming album, plus a song he was “testing out” just for them.

Watch Sam Hunt perform for WGNA listeners below, and stay tuned for an interview between WGNA’s Kevin Richards and Sam Hunt, who will be opening for David Nail at Upstate Concert Hall on Thursday.
