Rookie Sprint Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. earned the pole starting position for Sunday night's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Stenhouse beat out his Roush-Fenway Racing teammate Carl Edwards in qualifying on Friday to make it an all Ford front row for the start of the AdvoCare 500. The next fastest Ford in qualifying was Joey Logano's Penske Racing No. 22 which will start 11th. Juan Pablo Montoya, Denny Hamlin and Jeff Gordon round out the top five starters.

Montoya has been running well lately. In addition to qualifying third on Friday at Atlanta, Montoya finished third at Bristol last week, and hasn't placed worse than 11th in the last three weeks despite the fact that he is looking for a ride next season. Montoya's successor was announced on Friday as NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Kyle Larson was named as the new driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet for 2014.

Last week's winner Matt Kenseth will start 6th followed by Martin Truex Jr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Truex will be driving with a broken wrist that he suffered as a result of a crash at Bristol last week. Kyle Busch starts 9th and Jimmie Johnson completes the first ten starters. Here is the complete lineup.
