Once again we have come to the end of another week, so it's time to go back into the time machine and relive another great country song and video with this weeks edition of Flashback Friday.

I was listening to my Ronnie Milsap Ultimate Hits CD recently and  one song came on that I had almost forgotten about . Now I keep on listening to the one song over and over again as if it were a brand new tune. We go back to 1983 for the top 10 hit "Stranger In My House".

This was Ronnie's 35th single of his career and the first off his 1983 album "Keyed Up".  Ronnie has 35 Number one Billboard country hits but surprisingly this wasn't one of them. But it was still very sucessful, peaking at number five on the country charts, 8 on the Adult Contemporary charts and 23 on the pop charts. It also won a Grammy for Best Country Song. Trace Adkins breaks the song out at many of his shows as well

The song was written by Mike Reid, who i showcased here before with his hit "Walk On Faith".  He wrote alot of hits for Ronnie including the number one hits "Inside", "Show Her", "She Keeps The Home Fires Burning" and "Where Do The Nights Go"

Ronnie is still going at it these days. In 2009 he released a double album of gospel songs and hymns called "Then Sings My Soul" and is still touring all across the country.

I hope you enjoyed this musical blast from the past. Be sure to check back next week for another great memory!
