Rivers Casino And Resort to Host Job Fair On Oct. 8

Now that I have your attention, I wanted to let everyone know that the Rivers Resort and Casino is going to be holding a job fair on Oct. 8. The job fair will be located at SEAT Center at 131 State Street in Schenectady, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are planning on attending, you are encouraged to bring a resume with you. 

I should also point out that the Rivers Resort and Casino is actually calling it a Hiring Fair, which I kind of like better.

According to Mary Cheeks, general manager of Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady:

This Hiring Fair is a golden opportunity to meet with the leadership of Rivers Casino & Resort, and to get on the fast track to being hired for one of approximately 1,200 positions we will be filling in the coming weeks and months."
