Four weeks ago, I wrote a blog about how I have accepted the challenge of going "Over the Edge" in support of Special Olympics of New York. Last year, producer Levack did the challanege as a representative of the Sean & Richie Show and WGNA-FM.  This year, it is now my turn, but I still need more help.

We are now only six weeks away from the big day (September 16th, 2011) and I still have lots of fundraising to do before I'm able to rappel off the side of the Crowne Plaza.  Did I mention it's 18 stories down to the bottom?  Sounds crazy, right?  Well, I'm beginning to think I'm crazy for agreeing to do this task.

However, I do feel that if I knew our listeners were backing me up, it would make it much easier to make that initial plunge off the roof top.  Especially, because rumor has it, I might be racing someone to the bottom on top of all of this.  All I need is to hit $1,000 -- that shouldn't be too hard, right?

If you would like to donate and support me on this voyage, please head to my donor page.  You can donate as little or as much as you'd like -- every little bit helps and will certainly help make my legs a little less shaky.  What do you think?  Will you help me and Special Olympics reach our goal(s)?

I would also like to take this time to thank the people who have already donated.  I am currently at $175!  THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH to Tami-Lynn Wilson, Kathy Ventura, Marie Taber, and Susan Handerhan.
