Earlier this month, I had a story about a woman that had her purse stolen from inside of her car while she was putting her groceries into the car, in East Greenbush.

Now, another woman had her purse stolen from her car. This time, it was in Rotterdam, at the Altamont Avenue Price Chopper.

Someone called the Rotterdam Police and said that they saw a woman go into a vehicle that wasn’t locked and take a purse. She then allegedly brought the purse into her own vehicle, and then went into the store to do some shopping.

The police that responded to the call caught the suspect when she was leaving Price Chopper. According to the story from News 10 ABC, police arrested the suspect, 67-year-old Linda Vacca of Schenectady. She was charged with two felonies – Grand Larceny in the fourth degree and Criminal Possession Of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.
