Protestors Expected at Thanksgiving Day Parade

Besides having turkey, it’s a Thanksgiving Day tradition to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on tv.

I know some people who actually travel to New York City every year for the parade. Beside the masses of men, women and children who will be attending and enjoying the parade, they may be joined by protestors.

In a story from Newsfeed.Time.com, there’s a group that’s putting together a protest about a float in the parade – A SeaWorld float. PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) are planning the protest because of some accusations that were recently made in ‘Blackfish’ - a documentary about how badly whales are allegedly treated at theme parks. Representatives from SeaWorld are maintaining that there’s absolutely no basis for the allegations.
