Pro Bull Riding In Albany Brings Protests

The Professional Bull Riders (P.B.R.) came to Albany at the Times Union Center on Saturday night, but they drew more than just their fans.

I read the story in The Times Union about some of Albany’s active animals rights group were protesting the event. For more than an hour, the activists were holding up signs, and distributing literature to educate people that were going to attend the rodeo, in front of the T.U. Center.

There was a letter posted in the Times Union from someone stating their opinion about how the animals of the rodeo are treated cruelly. I believe that it was basically a non-violent protest, and some folks just voicing their opinion.
