President Obama Visits Ground Zero- Lays Wreath At Site

President Obama was at ground zero today, shortly following the news earlier this week that the US Military had killed Osama Bin Laden.

The President met with firefighters and police officers who lost colleagues at Ground Zero in the 9-11 attacks of 2001. Among the many heart felt words the President offered in a short but emotional speech to the 3,000 people in attendance were the following:

“When we say we will never forget, we mean what we say”
