The rumors are true. After much speculation, a  Crossgates Mall children's store that was launched back in 1999 is closing it's doors next month but not before everything in the store is currently on clearance for 30% off.

According to 'content queen' Kristi Gustafson Barlette from the Times Union, Pottery Barn Kids in Crossgates Mall is closing after a nearly deacde long run inside the mall.

According to her report, currently, there are fewer than 100 Pottery Barn Kids stores nationwide and a handful of their locations have closed each year since 2010.  As of Saturday, everything in the Albany store is 30 percent off including  furniture, bedding, toys, decor and accessories for babies and children. The Crossgates Mall store plans to close next month, ending their decade long run.

According to their website, Pottery Barn Kids was founded in 1999 by two moms who were designing their kids' bedrooms and couldn't find comfortable, well-made pieces.
