Please Help Us Find Forever Homes For Terrence And Sweetie – Steve Caporizzo’s Pet Connection
If you missed Pet Connection today on the Sean and Richie Show, here is another chance for you to take a look at a couple of great pets up for adoption. Pet Connection is brought to you by our proud sponsor Curtis Lumber, providing building materials to contractors and homeowners since 1890. Tune in every Thursday at 7:20 a.m. to hear the stories of incredible (and adoptable!) pets. Let’s take a look at the pets featured today.
TERRENCE (65 pounds)- Boxer/hound mix, male, 8 1/2 years. Terrence is a handsome gent with lots of love to give and REALLY needs a foster home without other pets. He’s becoming very depressed in the kennel. Terrance was surrendered in NYC because his family couldn’t give him the time he needed. He’s a gentle, affectionate and quiet companion. He loves all people, but doesn’t wish to share his home with another dog, or with cats. Terrence would love to have a place to live out his golden years with plenty of attention and pampering. He has a thyroid condition which is easily treated with an inexpensive medication. Terrence’s adoption fee is partially sponsored.
SWEETIE – Yorkie/Cairn mix, female, 1 year, 7 lbs. SWEETIE came to us from GA where she lived in extreme neglect. She doesn’t seem to hold a grudge against people, as she is an affectionate girl who lives up to her name. Sweetie is fine with cats and loves to play with the dogs in her foster home. In fact, we are hoping to place her in a home with other playful dogs who will help her burn off some of her puppy energy. She is refining her housebreaking and is eager to please so it is hoped she won’t be in the “learning” phase too long. She loves everyone she meets and once you meet her you will be charmed by her kisses and her lovely silky coat. It is a testament to her wonderful spirit that she can be this sweet after being treated so poorly.
