I'm on the fence on this one.  I like the idea, but it kind of creeps me out.  How would you feel about leaving your wallet or purse at home and just using your phone to pay for everything? Well, get ready because it's coming whether you like it or not. The technology has been out for awhile.  Here's Google's version.  it's called Google Wallet.  It keeps all of your credit and debit cards together, and those pesky loyalty cards that would fill 5 wallets normally.

Several wireless companies are reportedly working together to turn smartphones into contactless credit cards.  AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon are working with Discover card and Barclays to enable smartphones with RFID chips (Radio-frequency identification) which would allow customers to wave their phone near the reader at the checkout to make payment.  Could this be our reality for next year?
