A busy time for some property owners to appear in court. First, it was the owner of two buildings that were condemned in one part of Colonie on Central Avenue, and this time it’s the owners of a condemned building at 470 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham.

In Colonie Town Court on Thursday [November 13], was Kyung Hee Kim. Her husband Kee Chun Kim wasn’t present. They are facing multiple violations for the building. Back in September, unsafe conditions were the reason that the building was shuttered and officially condemned by Colonie officials. There was an opportunity for the Kims to fix the problems. Apparently there was a recent compliant stating that things still weren’t fixed, and it’s still uninhabitable.

A deal was offered by the Town Of Colonie where they would have to plead guilty to three of the code violations and tear down the building. According to the story from News 10 ABC, the Kims were given another court date and also given more time for consideration of the plea offer.
