There is another recall that is affecting nearly one million pickup trucks. This time it's something in the steering wheel that has already caused a handful of accidents. Here's what you need to know. There is a major recall from Fiat Chrysler which makes Ram trucks. According to CBS 6 Albany, the company is recalling six hundred sixty thousand heavy-duty trucks all over the world because of a possible loss of steering control.

Fiat Chrysler says that a loose nut in the steering column can cause the steering control to be compromised. So far there have been eight crashes and one injury because of this recall. Most of the trucks affected are in the United States and Canada.

The recall includes Ram 3500 pickups from 2013 through 2017 and the 2500 pickups and 3500 Chassis Cabs from 2014 through 2017. Owners should be notified soon. Dealers will inspect the steering nut and either tighten it or weld it into a sleeve to secure it. If that doesn't do it, they will replace the steering assembly.
