Just a bit of what to expect from the announcement, movies up for Best Picture this year are: "Black Swan," "The Fighter," "Inception," "The Kids Are All Right," "The King's Speech," "127 Hours," "The Social Network," "Toy Story 3," "True Grit," and "Winter's Bone."

Now unfortunately, I have not seen any of the above mentioned movies and apparently, have a lot of movie watching to do so I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend.  However, if you are unlike me and have seen any of these movies, please comment back and let me know which movie would be a good start.  Or maybe which movie I should just avoid because it shouldn't even be up for an award.  Richie has already forewarned me of certain scenes in the "Black Swan."

The award show will be televised on ABC, Sunday, February 27th at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.  For a omplete list of all the nominations for this year's award show, you can go to: 2011 Oscar Nominations .
