A couple of homeowners in Halfmoon went out to take care of some errands on Thursday and came home to find that their the home was burglarized.

They contacted authorities about the burglary and a short time later, two people were arrested.

A suspicious vehicle  with two people inside, was seen by local police, parked in the area of the robbery. When the police talked to the people in the car, they believed that at least one them was involved with the robbery.

In the story from CBS 6 Albany, New York State Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Stony Creek - William Villano was charged with second degree burglary.

The second person in the vehicle, who is from Albany, 63-year-old Michael Mooney was arrested for a different crime. He was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic needle and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police did recover the stolen property. It was still in the vehicle.
