There’s one Albany area road that I think everyone could get caught for speeding.

30 MPH Section
loading...

It’s one section of Route 9W heading south into Bethlehem, at the beginning of 787 and exit 23 of the Thruway.

Coming north from Bethlehem and Glenmont into Albany, at the bridge over the Normanskill Creek. All of a sudden on this four lane highway, you go from 45 miles per hour, down to 30 miles per hour.

Somehow if you go south from Albany into Bethlehem, you tend to go 45 where it’s still a 30 mile per hour zone. Is it that dangerous of an area that the speed limit isn’t 45? Everyone seems to do that anyway. I think they should just change that section to 45. Just my opinion.
