It's funny.  I don't hear too many people talking about the Occupy Albany protesters downtown.  In one way, I'm glad, because at least things haven't gotten out of hand and no one's gotten hurt(yet!).  On the other hand, I feel bad for them that all that effort isn't getting as much recognition as they feel they deserve.  But things are different out in "mellow" California

According to an article in the Huffington Post,

Police Shut Down Occupy Oakland Encampment

Authorities removed about 170 demonstrators who had been staying in the area overnight after repeatedly being warned that such a camp was illegal and they faced arrest by remaining. City officials said 97 people were arrested in the morning raid.

Check out this video from YouTube.  A pretty gutsy person took this!

Boy, if this doesn't give us baby boomers  flashbacks to the protests of the late 60's and early 70's!

Does this concern anyone out there, or am I going to be the designated worrier here?  Can you imagine every major city having to deal with this?  I think the only answer is for all the rich people to put all their money in a big pile in the middle of their respective cities and we'll just split it up evenly and be done with it!

But seriously, I'm worried.  In other words, it's Wednesday!    Ar you concerned?  Do you think all this is worth it?  Let me know!
