Obamacare for Dummies
So, if you're like me, you have no idea about this Affordable Care Act. Honestly, I'm not sure that our actual governing body has any idea about it!
But, I do know that...
There are somewhere around 50 million Americans - men, women and children, without health insurance right now.
The fact is, about 60 percent of all personal bankruptcies in the U.S. are related to medical bills.
I think it's time to get to the bottom of it!
While researching it to see what kind of benefits my family would be receiving, I found this fabulous little video that explains it in a way just about anyone can understand!
So, check it out, it's by the Kaiser Family Foundation.

I know there are a lot of people who would like to see Obamacare repealed. But, I know that tens of millions of Americans will then continue be without proper coverage, and insurance companies will continue to be able to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions. Also, America will continue to suffer the consequences of a health care system controlled by private for-profit companies, whose bottom line is money and not health.
I know that many folks don't think that the Affordable Care Act is a great idea, but maybe if we all learn the facts, we can agree that it might be a good first step in the right direction? What do you think?
