I'm young but I've been around long enough to understand that nothing is free. It's a sad world we live in when we have to pay for grocery bags. I mean seriously, what the heck?

I guess not being from New York I find all of these laws, taxes, toll roads and fees to be a bit much. Upon moving to New York I've needed to adjust to higher taxes and then I found out that I need to pay for my inspection to see if someone can say my car is okay to drive.

Last week, I posted this story about a possible law that if passed, could fine people up to $1,000 for not cleaning the snow off their car.

According to the Times Union, a new legislation could pass where customers could be charged for using paper and plastic bags.

Law makers will vote this week to determine the new legislation. It's estimated that the bags could cost five cents a piece.
