If there is one thing we can all agree on, it is finding different ways to honor and recognize our Veterans.

And the state of new York is now offering a new license plate option for Veteran's that will recognize the specific branch of the military they served in! Governor Cuomo announced the new plates at a press conference last Saturday, Veteran's Day.

So, for the first time, Veteran's can now have plates with U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard or U.S. Marines. They join a number of Veteran's options that were previously available, according to the Governor's office.

Compared to what our Veteran's have sacrificed to serve our Country, this is a small token of appreciation. But what I love about this, this gives us all a chance to thank and recognize our Veteran's a little more. I said on Veteran's Day EVERY day should be Veteran's Day, and now this gives us a chance to appreciate our Veteran's a little more.

If you see a Veteran getting out of his or her car at the supermarket, thank them for their service! Or maybe if you see one in the drive-thru the next time you are getting a coffee, pay it forward and show a Veteran you appreciate all they have done. Anytime we have a chance to recognize all they have given, do so!
