The Cat In the Hat announced in Springfield, MA this week he is making a run for the White House.
In the midst of a tenuous campaign, this is a nice break from all the negativity out there. The Cat In the Hat will of course be the candidate for the kids! He made the announcement on the steps of his creators home in Springfield yesterday. According to MassLive.com, a spokesperson for the Cat said he will release his tax returns, will be transparent, and will seek out cabinet members with great rhyming abilities.
I do not know about the rhyming, but complete transparency? That sounds like something we can get behind. And maybe the State of the Union address could be opened with 'Green Eggs and Ham.' In the midst of a tenuous campaign, this is a nice break from all the negativity out there.
