North Greenbush Police Officer Injured In Accident

Emergency medical people went to the scene of an auto accident which involved a North Greenbush Police officer and his patrol car.

The officer was pulled out of the wreck and placed on a stretcher. He was then taken to a hospital in an ambulance.

The accident happened at the intersection of Routes 4 and 43, around 10:00 a.m. this morning. According to the story from the Times Union, there was no word on how many vehicles were involved in the accident, what caused it or the condition of the officer. The intersection was closed to traffic due to the accident.
