No Coolers At Larkfest This Year

The days of BYOB to concerts and outdoor events other than your own family backyard barbecues is pretty much over. With the anti drinking and and driving laws and a general crackdown on public intoxication in general if you want to have a drink at literally any big organized event plan on buying it. One of the last mass gatherings that allowed BYOB with coolers has thrown in the towel now. This year at LarkFEST no personal coolers will be allowed. Security will be posted at all entry points to enforce the new rule, so if you want a beer then you’ll have to pop in to one of the many downtown bars and grab one. Here’s more on the story.
