No Car In Albany, Parking’s A Pain, Try Car Sharing

If you don’t own a car and you live in Albany, but need to use one every now and then, you may be in luck.

You know that parking can be a big hassle.

There’s a new service that was recently launched in Albany called Capital CarShare. The new program has been funded by the Capital District Transportation Authority and Capital District Transportation Committee. The cost of membership seems to be affordable, but you must be a member to use the service. That includes a few different levels of membership, including renting the vehicle for an hour.

In the story in the Times Union, there are several places where the vehicles will be kept. Hopefully this will be a big convenience for the residents of Albany.
