Bed, Bath and Beyond will be closing one of it's 4 Capital Region locations.

This one comes as kind of a surprise as we have not heard of any major closings coming, but the Times Union is reporting the Bed, Bath and Beyond at Mohawk Commons in Niskayuna will be shutting down.

The TImes Union says a closing date has not been set, but everything in the store is already on sale with full price items at 10 percent off. Right now you can also get an extra 20 percent off 'clearance items.' Regarding the remaining inventory at the store the Times Union says outside of bedding, there is a good amount of inventory left.

Translation: If you want to take advantage of the storewide savings move quickly because selection is already dwindling. Once word of the sale spreads, shoppers will start flocking to the store to take advantage of savings.

At this point, it looks like Bed, Bath and Beyond's other Capital Region locations (Saratoga Springs, Colonie and Glenmont) will remain open and unaffected by the Niskayuna closing. Lets hope this is just a localized closing and nothing more extensive!
