To Whom It May Concern:

It is with mixed emotions that I write this letter. I have had many great years and incredible memories during my 17 years here at WGNA. So of course it is not without some regret that I say goodbye.

I have to say that the listeners and a great many of the people who I have worked with so closely over the years have meant the world to me. The thought of losing that part of my life is indeed pretty scary.

There are however, many things in life that come unexpected and can change the course of a persons needs, goals and expectations. I can only assume that winning tonight's 500 million dollar Powerball Jackpot will do that for me.

I feel as a new millionaire that I owe it to myself and my family to spend much more time travelling, playing golf and basically doing whatever i dang well please. I hope you will all understand.

Now you may be wondering, will we hear from him again? It depends I have come to realize that when one wins 500 million dollars, the people in their lives fall into two groups. The first group being the ones who you love and respect and have always been there in support of you. If you are in that group, yes of course I will still be in your life. The second group is everyone else in the world. I like to call them the "bite me" group. I am sure you probably know into which group you fall. If you are unsure, it is the second group.

In closing it isn't so much "Goodbye" as it is, "HA HA HA HA, I WON, I WON! WHASSSS UP? PEACE OUT!"

Disclaimer:   This letter of resignation was for my amusement during a wonderful moment in which I imagined what I would do if i had actually won tonight's lottery. If I indeed do not win, please disregard all of the above.

What would your letter look like?
