This is a tough assignment--to come up with one of these ditties that rhyme the week's events every week.  But if you think it's worth it, I will try hard to discipline myself to do it.  And if you ever want to contribute , be my guest!   (Gee-how many things can YOU rhyme with Charlie Sheen?)

So as I was perusing the top news items of the week, I listed:

1. Food Prices

2. cold weather

3. The woman who hung onto her husband's minivan while he drove 100 mph!!

4. Gas prices

5.  Libya

6. The Ipad announcement

7.  Oh--gee--I almost forgot--CHARLIE SHEEN!

There's a ton more I could have done ,but we are always pressed for time, so I left it at that.

But here's what I came up with, using my own melody for a change (although it actually sounds like a fast version of "Feelin' Groovy" from Simon and Garfunkel, but I digress...

Anyway, here's to a better and warmer NEXT week.   (did I mention Charlie Sheen? )

Hey, I love a good challenge.  You suggest to  me a fast country song that I can parody for next week (something that we play on WGNA), and I will use that song for next week's News Of The Week (and give you credit as well!)  Come on--challenge me!  Cuz I'm awesome and I have Adonis DNA!!!  (wow--I've been listening to the news too much this week!!!)
