A new survey lists the sandwich that is considered the best of each state or what sandwich the state is known for. Honestly, I've never in my life had this sandwich, nor will I because it just sounds gross. Also, I think I've only known maybe one person to ever even order this around me in my entire 33 years.

When I think New York, I think pizza, I think something along the lines of that. Something Italian, maybe a meatball sub or geez, even a hamburger. But, according to Insider, the best sandwich of New York state is a bagel with lox and cream cheese. For those wondering what exactly lox is, it's a thin sliced fillet of salmon that's cured and cold smoked. No thanks.

Seriously?! Ugh. That can't be right, can it? I guess in their defense they claim it's just "so NYC," forgetting that upstate even exists. But, again - COME ON.

Massachusetts, the 'Flufernutter Sammie' is what they're crowning your state with. A lovely concoction of white bread with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. Why? Well, it turns out that the inventor, Archibald Query originated from Somerville, MA. (I'll admit, this at least sounds good right now.)
