New York State Uses As Much Energy Every Year As Egypt

Here's one of those weird facts that you stumble across that can make your jaw drop. The Tech Insider website has come across an energy study that shows the state of New York consumes as much energy every year as the country of Egypt. Blame it on our phone-charging lifestyles if you want, but maybe it's time to put the phone down and go outside and breathe some fresh air.
