New Pub & Coffeehouse Is Coming to Saratoga Springs

You will soon have a new place for suds and caffeine in the Spa city.

When it comes to great spots for a brew or coffee, Saratoga Springs is going to get a little richer this year. According to a Times Union report a new "brewpub/coffeehouse" will be setting up shop in the old Saratogian building on the corner of Lake and Maple Avenues.

The Times Union says the new venture will be called 'Walt and Whitman', is looking at a June opening and is currently searching for a head brewer. This building looks like a really cool spot for this type of destination, and ya gotta love an old building being re-purposed for something new.

That is one of the great things about Saratoga. So many of the great places we get to go out and visit have a great story behind them. And hey, ya gotta love another spot to add to that next Saratoga Springs pub crawl or coffee date.
