It's tuesday so that means more new music in stores today as well as online. Today we have new albums from American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, Rodney Atkins and a couple country legends.

Scotty McCreery was one of the two country singers on American Idol this year. Both him and Lauren Alaina made it to the top two with Scotty eventually winning. Shortly after winning he hit the country charts with "I Love You This Big". Today Scotty releases his first album with "Clear As Day" on Mercury Nashville records. The album includes twelve tracks including "I Love You This Big", His latest single "The Trouble With Girls" and an old Keith Urban tune called "Walk In The Country". Look for Scotty on TV promoting the new CD tomorrow on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Friday on The Ellen Degeneres show and next Week on Opry Live on GAC.

Rodney Atkins releases his fourth Studio album today with "Take A Back Road" on Curb Records. The album contains 13 tracks including the title track which has already hit #1 on the charts. Rodney of course is in town  this Thursday at the Glens Falls Civic Center with Darius Rucker, so pick up this new album and check him out in concert and get your fill of Rodney this week!!

If you are a fan of classic country and country legends, be sure to check out a brand new album from Merle Haggard titled "Working In Tennessee" on Vanguard Records. This album contains 11 tracks many of which are brand new songs including the title track but also includes a new version of Hag's "Workin' Man's Blues" with Willie Nelson and Merle's son Ben and a cover of Johnny and June Carter Cash's classic "Jackson" which he sings with his wife Theresa.

Merle is also part of another release today that was put together by Bob Dylan called "The Lost Notebooks Of Hank Williams". Lyrics that were never used by the country legend are put to music by a number of musical artists such as Haggard, Dylan, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow and More.
