Need a Job? A Summer Job? Saratoga Race Course Is Hiring..

It’s a job every Capital Region teenager/ college kid wants!  But only about 2,000 are hired!

As we anxiously await the Summer’s most anticipated season, the New York Racing Association gets ready to host a job fair for those that want to work at the Saratoga Race Course!  These events will allow people from all over to apply for a position at the track, receive a brief interview and hope for the best!

I hear all the time people saying they want to work there or want their kids to work there for the 6 weeks of the meet.  Hey, it’s closed Tuesday so you already know you have a day off!

The job fair will be held:

June 12&13, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

June 14, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 The positions you can apply for at the job fair include security, ushers, parking attendants, utility workers, retail clerks, hosts/hostesses, wait staff, bartenders, cooks, prep cooks, food service helpers, cashiers, barbacks, food service supervisors, counter clerks and betting clerks.

You must be at least 16-18-years-old to apply.

This year's meet will start on July 18^th  and end on Sept. 1^st.

Good luck to those who apply, it’s a tough gig to get!  I’ve given you a good 3 weeks to prepare so GO!
