Ned Norton, Albany Gym Owner and CNN Hero of the Year [Vote]

CNN has been featuring everyday people who change the world, and one of the great folks they have highlighted is Ned Norton from Albany!

Ned Norton has owned a non-profit gym here in the Capital District, Warriors on Wheels, for more than 25 years.  He helps more than 120 people a week who have disabilities.  He trains them both physically and mentally so they can get back to their normal lives.

Ned provides men and women who face severe physical limitations with strength training and conditioning so they can gain more independence.

CNN has given Ned a $25,000 grant to help out, but if he is voted the "Hero of the Year" he'll receive an additional $100,000!

Ned told us this morning that if he wins he plans to use the money to help trainers in developing countries open gyms just like "Warriors on Wheels."
