This year five Sprint Cup drivers transform into analysts for the XFINITY Series races.

NASCAR is starting a new trend this year.  Current Sprint Cup Drivers will offer analysis along with Adam Alexander and Michael Waltrip on FOX for 12 of the 14 races FOX will televise this season.

Last weekend in Daytona, Kevin Harvick was in the booth to call the XFINITY Series race and he got rave reviews!  He will be back at it again in 2 weeks in Las Vegas and again later in the season at Dover.

Now, 4 others will join him as analysts as the season goes on.   Brad Keselowski will broadcast this week in Atlanta and again in Phoenix and Richmond.  Jeff Gordon will broadcast from Texas, Bristol and Talladega.  Clint Bowyer will be behind the camera for the races in Fontana and Charlotte.   And ending the season of driver broadcasters will be Danica Patrick in Michigan!

I think having current drivers who know the tracks, who have literally just tested cars on the track will have great insight into these races.

I think it's a great idea, and will  increase viewers to the series, especially if your favorite driver is in the booth!

Good luck to the drivers!
