My Wife’s Work Hours Are Straining Our Marraige – Daily Dilemma

Here is Today’s Daily Dilemma:

My wife and I work opposite shifts for work. She works overnights and I work a regular 9-5 job. It’s worked out kinda nice for us, she sleeps until about dinner time, we spend those hours together and then she goes to work. But, lately, things have been “off”. She is sleeping much later and missing our dinners. I have told her how important this time is to me, but she doesn’t seem to care. I suggested to her she quit and find a job that can better fit our marriage. We have no kids, and I will do whatever I need to support her to make this work. Since then, she has been very distant. When I ask her to talk about it, she says no. I am out of ideas..how can I fix this? Was it my suggestion for her to quit or is she already checked out?

The “Daily Dilemma” on the Sean and Richie Show is featured every weekday morning at 6:40am. We and the listeners take on someone’s problems and try to offer different perspectives. Now, these don’t have to be huge problems- it could just be something bothering you or a friend, or it could be some little thing you and another just can’t agree on. If you have a dilemma to share we’d love to hear it just e-mail us here at the show.
