My Wife Still Talks To Her Ex, Is This Normal? – Daily Dilemma

Here is Today's Daily Dilemma:

I admit that I can be a jealous person, but I’m wondering if maybe I am justified in feeling jealous right now. My wife told me she keeps in touch with her ex-husband about once a month and I’m sure it’s probably just a phone call or email but I just don’t get why she wants to keep communicating with him. He cheated on her several times during their marriage, and he spent a lot of their savings just before they split up, which left my wife in a difficult place for a while. She knows I don’t like that they keep in touch and that she sometimes speaks highly of her ex – am I just being overly jealous and a control freak or is it strange that they’re staying in touch?
