My Parents Are Still ‘Dating’ My Ex

Here is the daily dilemma, for Friday, February 10th, 2012:

"My dilemma is pretty simple and I'm betting pretty common, but it's killing me. I was with my ex-boyfriend for a long time and my family loved him. We broke up almost a year ago and I am now dating a new guy that I really love. Honestly, I always lacked something with my ex and now I really feel I'm in a great relationship. The problem is my family, especially my parents. I don't know if they really don't like my current boyfriend or if they just can't get over my ex. It's really driving a wedge between my parents and me. I have always been very close with my parents. How can I get them to understand before it becomes a situation where they make me choose between my boyfriend and me?"
