My Fun Moment With Big Kenny From Big and Rich in Memphis [VIDEO]

Our visit to St. Jude was one of the most emotional yet, and I for one have been there twice before. We will have much, much more to say about that during our upcoming radiothon.  But sometimes you have a little comic relief, and that happened when I was at the right place at the right time and  bumped into Big Kenny from Big and Rich. I consider Big and Rich to be one of the most underrated in country music.  Their new album by the way is called GRAVITY, and it's fantastic.  When I first heard the title cut, I was blown way.  In fact, and this is very weird, I had a cool opportunity to be gutsy and actually tell both John Rich and Big Kenny that face to face!  I might have gone overboard and almost demanded that they release it as a single.  I think Mr. Rich was taken aback by my near arrogance.  I didn't mean it that way.  I just LOVE the song so much that I couldn't understand how much of the world hasn't heard it yet!

But that part aside, I did have a fun quick moment with Big Kenny.  He's hysterical.  Check this out.  I captured him on my phone at a barbecue restaurant.

He really is a great guy.  In fact they both seem to be really cool and approachable. If somehow this blog gets to them, let me say "thank you" for taking the time to have a little fun. (but I STILL want you to release that damn song!! )
