My Friend Came Into Money And People Are Taking Advantage Of Him – Daily Dilemma

Here is Today's Daily Dilemma:

My friend Tim recently received A LOT of money from a grandparent that died. You know how everyone comes out of the woodwork when money is "found". Well, it's CRAZY the things he has to deal with now. Friends asking for $100 for this, $500 for that....you name it someone has asked for it. One day I reached MY limit as his friend. I went off on this guy "Bill" asking him for rent money (this was his 2nd money request). It was a scene, but I was just trying to protect my friend. Well, now Tim won't talk to me. I know I probably should have kept quiet, but I didn't want to see Tim hurt. How is that wrong?
