My Boyfriend Says I Spend Too Much Time On My Hobby

Here is the daily dilemma for Wednesday, February 15th, 2012.

"The main troubles have started recently because I have the lead part in a production. It is taking up a lot of my time. I've had rehearsals three times a week for a total of 17 hours the last few weeks. At first my boyfriend was okay with it, but then gradually got more and more bitter toward me. He says I'm too engrossed in the show. Everything came to a head when he told me one night that he can't be happy about it. He knows he should be proud and supportive, but he just can't. I'm willing to admit that yes, I've been talking about it non-stop and am very excited. I rehearse every day and have been busy making costumes for me and my friend. My problem is up until now he has been a good boyfriend. We have been together six months and I know the play is not forever. Do I just let this go and try to be understanding that he just misses me? Or is this an indication of what is to come? I want the kind of guy who can support me when it comes to my life and dreams."
