Last year, the Madison Theater in Albany closed its doors for renovations.

After those renovations were completed, they reopened for business and movies were again shown on the big screen.

Now there’s another change coming to the Albany landmark. In addition to showing movies, the theater will also be used for live entertainment. According to the story on WNYT, October 25 marks the date of the live performances at the 175 seat venue.

The first live shows will be a live music by a couple of jazz artists. Maybe we can get them to do some country music there, too.
