Moose No Longer Loose In Clifton Park
Recently, there’s been a moose that’s been roaming the Clifton Park area.
I think we’ve all heard about it. That moose has been captured by The New York State Department Of Environmental Conservation.
News 10 ABC reported that officers from The DEC tranquilized the animal in Halfmoon around Dunsbach Road on Tuesday. The young bull moose was spotted near exit 9 of the Northway and will be sent back to the Adirondacks and safely released.
A big thank you to Jared Pott from Ballston Spa, one of our GNA listeners and a Facebook friend who told me that he works as the outside guy at the Northway Golf Shop off Exit 8.
“When I first saw him around 6:30 a.m. on Monday and throughout the day, we would come and go from our range back to the woods,” he said.
Jared was able to follow his tracks this morning from the range going south and crossing Crescent Road. Jared got the pictures of the moose and the foot print at Northway Golf Shop.
