John Michael Montgomery and Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry are bringing their Montgomery family star power to WGNA's Countryfest.

In their younger days, John Michael and his brother Eddie played music together all over Kentucky as part of a family band.  Later, the brothers formed a band called Easy Tymz and Young Country, that also included their friend Troy Gentry.

After years of making music, in 1992 younger brother John (1/20/65) got a record deal and the hits soon followed with 'Life's A Dance' 'I Swear' and 'I Can Love You Like That.' Older brother Eddie Montgomery (9/30/1963) continued to make music and work alongside his younger brother as his tour manager during his hot streak in the early '90s.

After winning a Jim Beam talent contest, Eddie Montgomery joined forces with longtime friend Troy Gentry to form his own duo Montgomery Gentry in 1999.  After the breakthrough hit 'Hillbilly Shoes,' the friends scored with 'Something To Be Proud Of' 'Hell Yeah!' and 'She Couldn't Change Me.'

After two decades of hits, the Montgomery Brothers, and friend Troy Gentry, are still making great music. Countryfest concert goers will be thrilled to hear John Michael Montgomery's 90s classics like 'Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)' and 'Be My Baby Tonight' mixed with the Montgomery Gentry Y2K hits like 'One In Every Crowd' and 'Back When I Knew It All.'

Now let's hope that both brothers will find the time to re-unite during each other's sets at Countryfest 2014.
