A Toronto man who was reported missing while skiing at Whiteface Mountain earlier this week has been found, but not where you would expect.

First and foremost, we are happy to hear that Constantinos "Danny" Filippidis has been found safe and sound. The odd part of this story is where he was found.

According to NYUP, the Toronto man was reported missing last week while skiing at Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks. Now, you would expect he was found somewhere in the mountains. Nope. It turns out he was in Sacramento, California. He reached out to authorities today to let them know he was safe.

Police are looking for an explanation here what happened. He was reported missing by friends last Wednesday, and a search party of 140 people was searching for him.

I can imagine 'I lost control and starting sliding down the mountain uncontrollably and woke up in Sacramento' won't be a valid explanation for authorities.
