Miranda Lambert got into a little bit of trouble with TSA.  She was going through security before boarding a flight and was asked to pass through one of those highly controversial body scanners.  She refused, of course, which led to her getting an intrusive pat-down by TSA instead.  Miranda went ahead and tweeted about the experience as well her flight itself.  Apparently, some guy sitting next to her, recognized her and asked if she would talk to his daughter on the phone.  She graciously agreed.

Miranda has gotten a bit of a bad rep, especially for those of you who went to Countryfest 2011.  If you recall, she wasn't a fan of beach balls being tossed onto the stage while she was trying to perform.  I didn't get offended when she tried popping them nor when she said something to the crowd about how rude she took such actions.  The girl was trying to do her job!
As for this recent TSA experience, I can't say for myself whether I would want to go through one of those body scanners if I was walking through the security checkpoint at Albany International Airport.  However, I also think if I was Miranda Lambert, I'd invest some of my husband and my savings and buy a private jet!  Just sayin'.

What do you think of the controversial body scanners?  Do you think Miranda exercised her right to refuse them and was justified?
